## TL;DR

Vivid Walls is the first native Mac app to run Wallpaper Engine scene files on Apple Silicon. It is not a virtual machine and it does not run Windows software. It plays the actual `.pkg` / `.scene` format directly, not video loops. A free Windows companion ships an existing Wallpaper Engine library to the Mac over local Wi-Fi. $9.99 one-time on the Mac App Store, no subscription. ## Contact

- **Email:** support@vividwalls.app
- **Promo codes:** Available for reviewers, including extras to give away to your audience. Just ask.
- **Sample wallpapers:** I can send a folder of demo `.pkg` files if you don't have a Wallpaper Engine library on Steam to test with.
- **Custom request:** If you want a specific wallpaper rendered for a video shot, send the workshop link and I'll get it working (free, ships in the next update).

## A note on the project

Vivid Walls was built solo. Wallpaper Engine has never shipped a Mac version, so getting those scene files running on Apple Silicon meant building a Mac app around them from the ground up. It took months. If you find a wallpaper that doesn't render correctly, please let me know, I look at reported scenes directly and ship improvements free in updates.

Thanks for taking the time to look. Happy to answer any technical questions.

James
